Do you love snail mail? The fancy envelope? The perfect card…or just love hoarding your stationery stash for the perfect moment? ME TOO! I have loved making, designing, printing, and hand-painting envelopes for as long as I can remember. They make me happy. They make recipients even happier.
Every creative I know has their crazy “thing” that they do on the side that makes them happy….baking cupcakes, making soup, knitting scarves, upcycling garage sale furniture, photography, writing poetry…all while they normally concentrate on their Big Things. My passions are painting and writing but my funny goofy side thing I do for fun is MAKE ENVELOPES!!! They take all forms: hand painted, hand made, commercially printed from my original paintings…can’t stop, won’t stop!
Being in the greeting card business, it’s no surprise I love snail mail. Sending and receiving. A great pen, a fresh pack of postage stamps, and a stack of lovely personally crafted ‘lopes is Sunday afternoon note-writing tea-drinking heaven.
I’ve always made them for fun (yes, my friends ask if I have any “Mindalopes” around…) to send to family and friends or to include in my card orders as a little treat, but now they are available for you to purchase.

Each Baker’s dozen (yup, 13) pack is ASSORTED, probably not the same pack twice. I’m always making new designs, adding in ones I think are fun to send. They go through the USPS with regular postage. The large 6×9″ envelopes take two stamps.
