Another wonderful Sunday afternoon spent in the studio of Suzanne Etienne, local Ashland painter. I’m on an “all things nautical” theme right now with my visual journal, magazine clippings, Pinterest, doodles and paintings. I fell in love with this image from an old home decor magazine photo, of course, vintage buoys should be sherbet colored and hanging off fences….why didn’t I think of that? Perhaps inspiration for my next home… The sea is calling me, to be sure. In the meantime, “Oh, Buoy”, 24 x 30″, acrylic on gallery-wrapped canvas. xo
