My new issue of Somerset Life has arrived! And…I’m featured!!! So excited, so thrilled and really touched to be part of this issue with these patchwork collages. They are pieces that I worked on a year ago with so much love and flurry of excitement and to see them come alive now on the pages of national magazine is astounding. Thank you, Jenny Doh and Kellene Giloff.
It has turned colder, wetter, darker here in Northern California in the last few weeks. But cozier. It’s time to hunker down, get out that novel we’ve been meaning to read, cook the soup, string some lights, cozy up on the couch and immerse ourselves with projects that make us feel good to be home. For me, that is revisiting my art journals. Starting more patchwork collage panels. Continuing with my new love, oil painting. Making roast chicken and butternut squash soup.
And tonight, I can’t think of a better thing to do than make a cup of Earl Grey tea and flip through my new Somerset Life. These are cozy days.
